The shape and fit is quite good. The front busk opening is about 11" long, and comes up to a point just between the breasts. This allows it to fit well with an underwire bra, and with a push-up bra it looks amazing. The one I have here is their Black Floral Brocade. It has strong boning and I purchased it with the Ribbon Corset Laces (LOVE THESE! will write more about corset laces later).<br><br>Although I am a wimpy corset wearer (ie. I do not tight-lace, I just like them to be comfy and practical), I was easily able to reduce my 39" waist to 37", and keep it there for an entire evening. When I removed the Victorian Riding Corset my tummy stayed flat for a good hour or so before it gradually went back to "too big" &lt;sighs&gt;.
